We’ve been on this earth for a very long time. Of the 200 billion odd galaxies in the universe, our milky way is just one, There are around 400 billion planets in this galaxy, and the earth is just one, Of the 8.7 million species on earth, humans are just one, And of the 22,500 parts* of time that earth has existed, we’ve been here for just one. Of all the species on this planet, the one responsible for natural resources depletion is again just one. What is depletion of natural resources? Resource depletion is the consumption of a resource faster than it can be replenished. And we have achieved marvelous feats in the past 260 odd years since the start of industrial revolution in 1760. We mostly realize glaring truths when we get stuck. Like the importance of empathy, blue skies and non-commercial living in the past 12 odd days.
